Why is Christ's compassion important for believers?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's compassion assures believers that He understands their struggles and is ever-present in their trials.

Throughout the account in Mark 4, Jesus' response to the fearful disciples is filled with tenderness rather than anger. He asks, 'Why are you so fearful? How is it that you have no faith?' This not only rebukes their unbelief but showcases His compassionate nature as He desires His followers to trust in Him. Understanding that Jesus empathizes with our human condition empowers believers to face their trials with confidence, knowing their Savior is compassionate and present through the stormy seas of life. His compassion is a reminder that, despite our fears and doubts, we are never alone; He is always with us.
