Why is Christ's position at the right hand of God important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's position at the right hand of God is crucial because it signifies His authority and our unity with Him in glory.

When Christ ascended, He sat down at the right hand of the Father, which is a position of honor and authority (Ephesians 2:6). This act signifies not only His victory over sin and death but also our representation in Him. As believers, we are united with Christ, meaning that His exaltation is also ours. Ephesians 2:4-6 explains how God raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Therefore, regardless of our present difficulties, we hold a secure position in Christ, allowing us to face trials with hope and confidence.
