Why is Christ's resurrection important for salvation?

Answered in 3 sources

Christ's resurrection is vital because it confirms His victory over death and guarantees our justification, as stated in Romans 4:25.

The resurrection of Christ is foundational to Christian faith and salvation because it validates His divine nature and the effectiveness of His sacrifice. Romans 4:25 teaches us that Christ was 'raised again for our justification.' His resurrection signifies that He has conquered sin and death, providing assurance to believers that they too will experience resurrection and eternal life. Without the resurrection, the Christian faith would be void of hope, as it is through His victory that believers are justified and assured of their salvation in Him.
