Why is Christ's sovereignty over all creation important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Christ's sovereignty assures believers that He governs all things for their good (Romans 8:28).

The sovereignty of Christ is paramount for Christians as it assures us that He has authority over all creation, and this gives us confidence amidst trials and uncertainties. As stated in Romans 8:28, 'And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.' This verse encapsulates the truth that nothing happens outside of His will; therefore, believers can rest in the assurance that their lives are in the hands of a sovereign Savior who governs with wisdom and love. Christ's reigning power is not merely an abstract attribute but is actively present and at work in every circumstance of a believer's life.
