Why is Christ the stone of help for believers?

Answered in 1 source

Christ is the stone of help, representing our solid foundation for salvation and security before God.

In Psalm 18, Christ is described as our rock and fortress, symbolizing the unshakable foundation upon which believers stand. This metaphor reinforces the idea that everything apart from Christ is sinking sand, unable to provide true security (Isaiah 32:4). As God sent Him to be the Rock for His people, believers can rest assured that they are secure in Him, who is the only means by which they are justified and saved. His victory over all enemies, including sin and death, guarantees that He is our refuge and strength.
