Why is Christ the unifier important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Christ the unifier reconciles believers and restores fellowship among God's people.

In contrast to the division caused by man's depravity, the sermon teaches that Christ is the ultimate unifier who brings reconciliation and harmony among believers. As man attempted to build a tower to reach God, they were instead scattered due to their rebellion. However, through Christ, believers can be drawn together as one body, united in faith. Ephesians 2:14 speaks of Christ as our peace, who has broken down the wall of division. His work on the cross accomplishes the reconciliation of sinners to God and to one another, underscoring the vital importance of recognizing Christ's unifying role in the church and in the believer’s life.
