Why is cleansing blood important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Cleansing blood is vital for Christians as it signifies our justification and continual sanctification (Romans 5:9).

The significance of cleansing blood for Christians cannot be overstated. It represents the foundation of our faith as the means by which we are justified before God. Romans 5:9 asserts, ‘Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.’ Without the shedding of Christ's blood, there would be no atonement for sin, and thus no reconciliation with God. Moreover, the cleansing blood also plays a crucial role in our sanctification, enabling us to grow in holiness. Through faith in His blood, we are continually cleansed from sin, allowing for a restored fellowship with God and a life marked by ongoing spiritual growth.
