Why is coming to God in faith important?

Hebrews 11:6 explicitly states that 'without faith, it is impossible to please him.' To come to God, we must approach Him believing that He is who He claims to be and that He rewards those who seek Him. Faith cleanses our hearts and allows us to approach God confidently, as noted in Acts 15, where it is mentioned that God purifies the hearts of His people through faith. This faith is not just intellectual assent but is accompanied by trust and reliance on Christ's finished work. By coming to God through faith, we embrace the righteousness of Christ and access the grace and mercy needed for salvation.
