Why is coming to God through Jesus important?

Answered in 1 source

Only through Jesus can we be accepted by God and receive salvation.

Coming to God through Jesus is essential because He is the mediator who bridges the gap between God and humanity. Hebrews outlines that without a tabernacle, a priest, and a sacrifice, one cannot approach God. Jesus fulfills all these roles, being the true tabernacle where God meets man, our high priest who intercedes for us, and the perfect sacrifice that allows us to be accepted by God. Therefore, the importance of coming through Jesus is underscored by the reality that there is no other foundation upon which we can stand for salvation.
