Why is community important during difficult times?

Answered in 1 source

Community is vital as it allows believers to support one another and point each other back to Christ during trials.

In times of trial, the importance of community is heightened as expressed in Mark 4:36, which mentions other little ships accompanying the apostles. This symbolizes the fellowship among believers facing similar storms. Church community provides a space for mutual support and encouragement. During struggles, we are reminded that we are not alone; we have fellow believers who share in our suffering and help us look to Christ together. As believers, our trials are personal, yet they also serve to unify the church as we collectively depend on Christ for strength and comfort. It’s through this unity that we gain grace to bear one another's burdens and to grow in faith together.
