Why is community worship important for Christians?
Answered in 2 sources
Community worship is essential for Christians because it fosters mutual encouragement and obedience to Scripture's command not to forsake gathering together.
The gathering of believers for worship is a critical aspect of the Christian faith, as emphasized in Hebrews 10:25, which instructs us not to forsake assembling together. When Christians come together in worship, they encourage one another, grow in grace, and build up the body of Christ. It is in this communal setting that believers can share in the feast of God’s word, express their love for God and one another, and receive support in their discipleship journey. The joy and effectiveness of worship increase as we share in the voices of the saints and were reminded of the communal aspect of our faith.
