He prayed at critical junctures, such as before selecting His disciples and during times of distress (Luke 6:12, Mark 14:32). The act of prayer is not merely a practice but a way of life that reflects our dependence on God's grace. If we consider the Son of God being diligent in prayer, we realize how much more necessary it is for believers who are inclined toward sin and need constant reaffirmation of their faith. Prayer is depicted as a pulse of spiritual life—those who neglect it are spiritually lifeless and risk being disconnected from the grace offered by God.
