Why is experiencing weakness important for Christians?

Answered in 2 sources

Experiencing weakness allows Christians to fully rely on God's grace and showcases His strength in our lives (2 Corinthians 12:10).

The necessity of weakness in the life of a Christian stems from the paradox that in our weakness, God's strength is made manifest. Paul states in 2 Corinthians 12:10, 'For when I am weak, then am I strong.' This submission to weakness teaches humility and reliance on God, helping believers to overcome the pride of self-sufficiency. When we acknowledge our limitations, we invite God's grace to work dynamically within us, enabling us to endure hardships for His glory.
