Why is faith, hope, and love significant in a Christian's life?

Answered in 1 source

Faith, hope, and love are significant as they are the fruits of the gospel's impact in a believer's life, demonstrating true faith in Christ.

Faith, hope, and love serve as the fundamental expressions of a living faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul indicates that wherever there is genuine faith in Christ, it is accompanied by a love for all the saints and a living hope of eternal life (Colossians 1:4-5). Faith allows believers to trust in God's promises and provision; hope anticipates the fulfillment of those promises both in this life and in eternity; and love manifests itself in how believers treat one another. Together, these three virtues signify that the gospel is at work in their lives, producing a transformational change that demonstrates their relationship with God and with other believers.
