Why is faith important for hope in Christian life?

Answered in 1 source

Faith is the essential connection that links our hope to Christ, allowing us to trust in God's promises.

Faith serves as the chain that connects our hope to the anchor within the veil, which is Christ Himself. As stated in the sermon, wherever there is true faith, there also is hope, for faith grasps the promises of God and assures us of their truth. When we exercise faith, we come to see Christ clearly and understand His work on our behalf, thus strengthening our hope. Our hope is not a mere wish; it is a confident expectation based on the sufficiency of Christ and the truth of His Word, showing that without faith, our hope would have no foundation.
