Why is faith submission to God's will important?

Answered in 1 source

Submitting to God's will is an essential aspect of true faith, reflecting trust in His wisdom and timing.

In the act of bringing Lazarus back to life, we see how true faith submits to God’s will. Martha and Mary, despite their initial distress, eventually surrendered their desires to Christ's authority. This submission is important because it reflects a deep trust in God's wisdom, even when circumstances seem dire or beyond understanding. Our faith may falter at times, but genuine faith acknowledges that God's will is best and entrusts our fears and hopes into His capable hands. In doing so, we align ourselves with His sovereign purposes and discover the grace that sustains us through trials.
