Why is fleeing to Christ important during the end times?

Answered in 1 source

Fleeing to Christ is essential as He alone provides salvation and refuge from impending judgment.

In the context of Christ's imminent return and the destruction that follows, fleeing to Christ offers a dire necessity for salvation. As highlighted in 1 John 5:12, having the Son means possessing eternal life, while the absence of Him results in eternal loss. In the judgment that comes, only those who have run to the 'mountain,' which symbolizes Christ, will find safety and salvation from the wrath to come (2 Thessalonians 1:7-9). Thus, acknowledging our need for Him is imperative.
