This timing includes preparation in the hearts of those He intends to save, leading them through misery that prompts a sincere cry for help. For every sinner, God’s appointed time signifies when they will be made willing to respond to grace and come to Christ for salvation, reflecting the notion that He won't drag one out of bondage against their will but makes them willing through His mighty power (Psalm 107:13-14).
