Why is having communion with Christ important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Communion with Christ is vital as it nurtures our faith and enables us to reflect His character in our lives.

For Christians, having communion with Christ is the cornerstone of spiritual vitality and growth. Continuous interaction with our Savior enriches our understanding of His grace and cultivates the fruits of the Spirit in our everyday lives. Just as good soil nurtures a plant, our relationship with Jesus roots us in His Word and empowers our witness in the world.

Moreover, being in close fellowship with Christ transforms us to the extent that His love and attributes begin to emanate from our lives. This is evident as we strive to let our light shine before men, reflecting God's glory in our actions. It is through this abiding communion that we find strength to face trials, courage to profess our faith, and the joy that comes from knowing we are deeply loved and accepted by God.
