Why is having faith in God important during trials?

Answered in 1 source

Faith helps us endure trials, trusting that God is with us and capable of delivering us (Hebrews 11:6).

Having faith in times of trial is crucial for several reasons. First, Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith it is impossible to please God, indicating that our relationship with Him is rooted in trust and confidence in His goodness. Additionally, faith enables us to see beyond our immediate circumstances and recognize God's greater plan. In Matthew 8, when the disciples faced the storm, their faith was tested, revealing their need for a deeper trust in Jesus. Such trials are opportunities for growth, teaching us reliance on God who is sovereign and able to deliver us from our fears and difficulties.
