Why is having Jesus as our foundation important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

A solid foundation in Jesus ensures that Christians are anchored during life's trials and uncertainties.

For Christians, having Jesus as their foundation is vital because it offers comfort and assurance in times of distress and uncertainty. The world around us can be unstable, filled with trials and tribulations, but Jesus provides a steadfast anchor for our souls. As believers, we can approach life's challenges with confidence, knowing that our faith is built on a sure foundation. This foundation guarantees our justification, sanctification, and ultimately our glorification. By resting in Him, we find peace and assurance that allows us to face life's uncertainties without fear of shame.
