Why is having the right attitude towards others important for Christians?

Answered in 1 source

Having a proper attitude towards others reflects Christ's love and commands us to forgive and serve one another.

In John 13:15, Jesus calls His actions an example for His followers, indicating that believers should adopt a humble and serving attitude towards one another. This attitude becomes the foundation for true community and fellowship among Christians. As we forgive one another, bearing each other's burdens, we fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2). This spirit of humility and love prevents pride and judgmental attitudes, allowing for more profound relationships that mirror Christ's grace. Our understanding of His mercy towards us compels us to extend that same mercy to others.
