Why is hope important for Christians during difficult times?

Hope serves as a vital anchor for the soul, especially in times of distress and uncertainty. The Apostle Paul exhorts believers to hold on to hope, stating that it is 'both sure and steadfast' (Hebrews 6:19). In life’s storms—be it personal trials, communal struggles, or global crises—hope in Christ prevents us from drifting away from our faith. It reassures us of God's presence and gives us the strength to continue ministering to others, even when we feel weak ourselves.
