Why is hope in Christ assured for believers?

Answered in 1 source

Hope in Christ is assured because it is anchored in His faithfulness and the certainty of His promises.

The believer's hope is anchored in the promises of Scripture and the character of God. Hebrews 6:18 describes hope as a strong consolation for those who flee to God for refuge. This hope is not just wishful thinking but is based on the effective work of Christ, who has already accomplished salvation for His people. Since God cannot lie and His promises are unshakeable, believers can have full confidence in their hope of eternal life through Christ, who entered into the heavenly places on their behalf.
