Why is it essential for Christians to preach Christ?

Answered in 1 source

Preaching Christ is essential because He is the only source of salvation and hope for sinners.

The necessity of preaching Christ stems from the understanding that He alone can reconcile humanity to God. As stated in Romans 3:26, it is through faith in Christ that we receive justification. All human efforts at righteousness fall short and are inadequate for salvation. Thus, every sermon must point to Christ as the means by which believers can access God's grace. Without Christ at the center of preaching, the message becomes devoid of its saving power. He is the fulfillment of God's plan for redemption, and His blood alone is sufficient for the forgiveness of sins. Ultimately, preaching Christ refocuses our attention on His work rather than our attempts at self-justification.
