Why is it essential to have a relationship with Christ?

Answered in 1 source

A relationship with Christ is essential because it provides the only means of salvation and true fulfillment.

The necessity of a relationship with Christ lies in humanity's fundamental need for redemption due to sin. As outlined in Isaiah 1:4-6, we are all afflicted by sin, and this condition separates us from God. Christ came to remedy this separation by offering Himself as the perfect atonement for our sins, allowing us to be reconciled to the Father (Matthew 1:21). In Christ, we find not only forgiveness but also the fulfillment of our deepest needs and desires. He becomes our source of strength, guidance, and purpose, ensuring that our lives align with God’s will, thus providing peace and joy.
