Why is it important for Christians not to judge one another?

Answered in 1 source

Not judging others is vital for maintaining love, unity, and fulfilling the law of Christ.

The importance of not judging one another is rooted in love and community. In Galatians 6:1-2, Christians are called to restore one another gently and to bear one another's burdens. Judging fosters an environment of mistrust and separation, whereas love invites understanding and compassion. Furthermore, judging can lead to a pharisaical attitude where one elevates themselves above others, contradicting the model of humility Christ exemplified. Christians are to encourage and build each other up, which can only be accomplished in a judgment-free environment.
