Why is it important for Christians to acknowledge Christ's kingship?

Answered in 1 source

Recognizing Christ's kingship transforms our lives and secures our place in His righteous kingdom.

Acknowledging Christ as our King is foundational to Christian doctrine and practice, for it shapes our understanding of His authority over our lives. In His kingdom, righteousness prevails; thus, to be part of it, we must be made righteous through Him. As stated in Romans 3:22, righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. This acknowledgment leads to a transformational relationship where we seek His guidance and submit to His rule wholeheartedly. Furthermore, it assures us of His sovereign grace, in which His power and loving sovereignty govern our lives now and eternally.
