Why is it important for Christians to acknowledge God's omniscience?

Answered in 1 source

Acknowledging God's omniscience fosters a healthy fear of the Lord and encourages righteous living.

Recognizing God's omniscience is vital for Christians as it instills a rightful fear of the Lord. Psalm 73:11 and Ezekiel 8:12 reveal the folly in thinking that God does not see or care about our actions. Understanding that God knows our hearts and actions compels us to live in a manner pleasing to Him. In doing so, we align ourselves with His will and seek His blessings, while also understanding the severity of His judgment against sin, which is emphasized throughout the Scriptures.
