Why is it important for Christians to acknowledge God's role in our victories?

Answered in 1 source

Acknowledging God's role in our victories helps us give Him the glory He deserves.

Recognizing that our achievements come from the Lord is vital for maintaining humility and gratitude. When we understand that without Him we can do nothing (John 15:5), we are compelled to honor Him rather than take credit for ourselves. This acknowledgment fosters a spirit of worship and reliance on His strength, as seen in Hebrews 11 where the faith of the heroes of the Bible is highlighted with the recognition that their victories were attained through God-given faith.
