Why is it important for Christians to acknowledge their needs?

Recognizing and admitting our needs are foundational to the Christian walk because it leads us to a deeper relationship with Christ. When we understand our deficiencies, we are drawn to the one who is truly sufficient—Jesus. As demonstrated in Matthew 15, the multitude acknowledged their hunger and weariness, and in return, Jesus addressed their needs. This act of coming to Him reflects a posture of humility and trust. Embracing our needs not only glorifies God's provision but also fosters spiritual growth and dependence on His grace. It is in our weaknesses that His strength is made perfect, reminding us of the importance of relying on Him daily.
