Why is it important for Christians to acknowledge their weaknesses?

In 2 Corinthians 12:9, the Apostle Paul shares that God's response to his plea for relief from his weaknesses was, 'My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.' This principle is foundational for Christians; acknowledging our weaknesses allows us to fully rely on God's strength rather than our own. When we realize that our strength and ability come from God, we open ourselves to His power working in us. This humility leads us to greater effectiveness in service to Him, as we understand that our achievements are ultimately due to His grace and not our capabilities.
