Why is it important for Christians to give?

Answered in 4 sources

Giving is an expression of stewardship and reflects God's generosity, benefiting both the giver and the receiver.

In the sermon, giving is portrayed as a critical aspect of Christian stewardship. Believers are encouraged to view their possessions as gifts from God and are called to manage those gifts for His glory and the benefit of others. This act of generosity not only supports the needs of the Church and the ministry but also cultivates a spirit of gratitude and love within the giver. Furthermore, as Christians give, it creates opportunities for thanksgiving to God and glorifies Him, as people witness the love and support circulating within the community. Consequently, giving serves both to meet needs and as a means for spiritual growth and fostering a generous heart.
