Why is it important for Christians to know where God dwells?

Answered in 1 source

Knowing where God dwells assures believers of His presence and guidance in their lives.

For Christians, knowing where God dwells is vital for their spiritual life and growth. In John 1:38-39, when the disciples asked Jesus where He dwelt, it represented their deep desire for communion and relationship with Him. Jesus' response, 'Come and see,' invites them into a closer fellowship with Him. This reflects the ongoing invitation for believers to seek God’s presence, where He promises to abide in the hearts of the humble and contrite (Isaiah 57:15). By understanding where God dwells, Christians can experience His comfort, guidance, and the fullness of life that comes from being in His presence.
