Why is it important for Christians to look unto Christ?

For Christians, looking unto Christ is foundational to their faith. The act of looking signifies more than mere observation; it encapsulates trust, reliance, and belief in Him as the source of life and salvation. Hebrews 12:2 encourages believers to 'fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.'
