Why is it important for Christians to recognize the wonder of their salvation?

Answered in 1 source

Recognizing the wonder of salvation deepens our gratitude and inspires us to share the Gospel with others.

Understanding the wonder of salvation is crucial for Christians as it fosters humility and gratitude towards God. When we realize that our conversion was not a result of our own merit but solely by God's grace, we are moved to live lives filled with thanksgiving and joy. The Apostle Paul emphasizes in Romans 11:33-36 the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God, declaring that His judgments are unsearchable and His ways past finding out. When a believer contemplates their past and how far they were from God before His intervening grace, they cannot help but marvel at the fact that they have been redeemed. Such a recognition compels us to live in a way that honors God, and it should spur us to evangelize, sharing the good news with those still in darkness.
