Why is it important for Christians to recognize their own weaknesses?

Understanding our own weaknesses is crucial for Christians as it drives us to depend upon God's grace rather than our own strength. As depicted in the sermon, despite their proximity to Christ and the miracles they witnessed, the disciples fled when faced with danger; this illustrates the inherent vulnerability of human nature.
