Why is it important for Christians to rely on God during dry seasons?

Answered in 1 source

Relying on God during dry seasons is crucial as it teaches us that true satisfaction comes only from Him.

The wilderness experiences that believers endure serve as a reminder of our need for divine sustenance. Like the Israelites in Exodus, we often encounter 'bitter waters' in life, leading us to a point where we must cry out to God, acknowledging that only He can provide for our spiritual needs. These trials are designed to lead us away from self-sufficiency and direct our gaze solely towards Christ. It is in these moments that God reveals His faithfulness and teaches us to thirst for Him alone; apart from Him, we will experience bitterness. Thus, in our dry seasons, we learn to rely on God's provisions and grace, knowing that He is the only one who can truly satisfy our souls.
