Why is it important for Christians to remember Christ?

Answered in 5 sources

Remembering Christ is vital for Christians as it keeps us focused on His sacrifice and our identity in Him.

Christ's command to 'do this in remembrance of me' emphasizes the importance of recalling His sacrifice at every opportunity. Our tendency to forget spiritual truths necessitates that we regularly reflect on what Christ has done for us. In remembering Christ, we align ourselves with the reality of our dependence upon Him for righteousness and salvation. This remembrance also serves as a means of encouragement and strength in our Christian walk as we navigate life’s challenges, knowing that His work is finished and perfect.
