Why is it important for Christians to remember their redemption?

Answered in 2 sources

Remembering our redemption is vital as it motivates our devotion and gratitude towards God for His grace and mercy.

For Christians, remembering our redemption serves as the foundation for our faith and practice. Deuteronomy 15:15 reminds us to constantly reflect on what God has done in delivering us from the bondage of sin. This memory of grace should govern our actions, prompting us to live lives of worship and service in response to His love. As we recall the price paid by Jesus, the Lamb of God, we are inspired to share the gospel with others and to live out our faith authentically. In doing so, we cultivate a deeper relationship with God and a greater compassion for those still in bondage.
