Why is it important for Christians to see Christ in all of Scripture?

Answered in 1 source

Seeing Christ in all of Scripture is vital because it reveals the unified message of redemption and salvation through Him.

The sermon powerfully articulates that all Scripture testifies to Christ, stating, 'Search the Scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me' (John 5:39). This claim reinforces that every part of the Bible points toward the person and work of Jesus. Recognizing Christ in the entirety of Scripture transforms our understanding, encouraging a relational and worshipful engagement with God's Word rather than a mere academic pursuit. Without seeing Jesus, one risks missing the overarching narrative of redemption and the essence of salvation itself.
