Why is it important for Christians to trust in God's work rather than their own strength?

Answered in 1 source

Christians are called to trust in God's strength, as our labors are in vain unless the Lord builds the house (Psalm 127:1).

Psalm 127:1 states, 'Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain.' This verse reinforces the importance of relying on God's work rather than our own abilities. It is through His Spirit that we can accomplish anything worthwhile. When we attempt to build our lives, our families, or even our churches through our own strength, we risk failure. However, when we entrust our efforts to God, we can be assured that our work will bear fruit in accordance with His will. This principle encourages us to remain humble and to continually seek God's guidance and strength in all our pursuits.
