Unlike the Levitical priests who had to repeatedly offer sacrifices that could not ultimately atone for sin, Jesus offered Himself once for all as the perfect sacrifice (Hebrews 10:10). This means that believers can approach God with confidence, knowing that their sins are fully atoned for. Moreover, as our high priest, He intercedes for us continually, which reinforces our assurance and hope.
