Why is it important for Christians to understand that Christ reveals God the Father?

The claim that 'no man has seen God at any time—the only begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, has declared him' underscores a fundamental truth of Christianity (John 1:18). Mortal humanity cannot behold the Father directly, yet through Christ, we gain full insight into the Father's character and will. His life, death, and resurrection reflect God's perfect wisdom, love for sinners, and His holiness. In seeing Christ, we indeed see the Father, as He embodies all of God's attributes that we are capable of understanding. This revelation is foundational for a correct understanding of God and ensures that our worship and honor correctly point to the triune nature of God.
