Why is it important for Christians to use money wisely?

Answered in 1 source

Using money wisely reflects our faith and demonstrates how we value God's provision.

Christians are called to be wise stewards of money because how we manage our finances reveals our priorities and trust in God. The Bible teaches that money, while often called 'mammon of unrighteousness' due to its potential for misuse, can be used for good when aligned with God’s purposes (Luke 16:9). By being faithful with our money, we show we are also capable of handling greater spiritual truths. Ultimately, it’s a matter of honoring God with every aspect of our lives, including our finances, which are to be used for His glory and the benefit of others. A wise use of money manifests both our love for God and our faith in His provision for our needs.
