Why is it important not to fret over evildoers?

Answered in 1 source

The Bible encourages believers not to fret over evildoers because their end is certain and God is in control.

The Psalmist, in Psalm 37, repeatedly instructs believers not to fret because of evildoers. This instruction serves as a reminder that the apparent prosperity of the wicked is temporary and that God has a plan that will ultimately prevail. Instead of worrying about the injustices we see in the world, we are to place our trust in God and His promises. By focusing on the Lord and His faithfulness, we can find peace amidst the chaos, knowing that He will judge the wicked and that their time of reckoning is coming.
