Why is it important that Christ fulfilled the will of God?

Answered in 1 source

Christ fulfilling God's will is essential because it secures our salvation and reveals His righteousness to us (Psalm 40:8).

The fulfillment of God's will by Christ is of paramount importance as it illustrates His obedience and the depths of His sacrificial love for His people. As mentioned in Psalm 40:8, Christ came to do the will of God willingly; His life and death are the incarnational fulfillment of everything God purposed for redemption. By perfectly obeying God's law, He not only provides us with a model of righteousness but also procures our salvation through His sacrifice, thus reconciling us to God.
