Why is it important to be under the sound of the Gospel?

Answered in 1 source

Being under the sound of the Gospel is vital for spiritual growth and understanding of God's truths and character.

Being regularly exposed to the preaching of the Gospel is critical because it aligns believers with the means by which God imparts grace and understanding. The parables in Mark 4 highlight that just as some soil produces fruit while others do not, the condition of our hearts matters greatly. To cultivate good soil, believers must place a high priority on gathering for worship and hearing the Word preached. Without this, spiritual growth is stunted and believers might miss out on the fullness of life that Christ intends for them.
