Why is it important to believe in the sovereignty of God in times of loss?

Answered in 1 source

Believing in God's sovereignty brings comfort and peace during our times of loss.

The sovereignty of God is paramount in understanding our circumstances, especially during times of grief. It reassures us that nothing happens without His divine purpose. In the sermon, it was acknowledged that though death seems humiliating and burdensome in our eyes, in God's perspective, it is precious and filled with purpose. Recognizing God's sovereignty encourages us to submit to His will and find peace knowing that He works all things for good. This belief instills hope amidst sorrow, reminding us that God is in control and is always with us.
