Why is it important to consider Jesus during trials?

Answered in 1 source

Considering Jesus helps us endure trials by reminding us of His suffering and the hope we have in Him.

In Hebrews 12:3, we are encouraged to consider Jesus, who endured tremendous opposition and suffering. By reflecting on His struggles, we gain perspective on our own trials and are reminded that our sufferings are minor in comparison. This consideration serves as a source of strength, helping us to not grow weary or lose heart. It reminds us that He understands our pain, having faced greater trials than we ever will. Ultimately, focusing on Jesus assures us that he is with us in our struggles and enables us to maintain our hope and faith in God’s sovereign plan.
